Cha-am Kitesurfing
Welcome to our kite surf center in Cha-am
NEWSFLASH: Our Cha-am kite center is open.
Cha-am & Hua Hin
Just 20 kilometres to the north of the well known kitesurfing spot Hua Hin is a great alternative in the form of the friendly and rustic town of Cha Am.
Whereas Hua Hin has more facilities such as shopping, restaurants and expensive resorts, Cha Am is appreciated for it’s quiet laid back atmosphere and it's 5 kilometer long beach which is excellent for kitesurfing.
From the middle of February to the end of April this area is blessed with daily thermal winds of between 12 and 20 knots, an ideal wind-strength for learning

PLEASE NOTE
Cha Am and environs experiences a thermal wind, this type of wind is caused by the heating of the land and is a result of a local effect. Weather sites such as windguru.com or windfinder.com don’t show this local wind on their wind information, thus they will be showing only 3 or 4 knots for the area whilst it could really be blowing 18 knots.
