Welcome to our kite surf center in Phuket

Also called the pearl of the south, Phuket is Thailand's largest island, it's approximately the same size as Singapore. Although tourism is it's biggest source of income, because of it's large size there are still many beautiful spots to accomodate escapists of nearly all budget levels. Lying in the Andaman Sea in the south of Thailand on the west coast, the island's terrain is incredibly varied with idyllic little secluded coves, long white powdery beaches, limestone formations, mangrove forest reserves and jungles with waterfalls and tropical vegetation of all kinds. This combined with the presence of steady trade winds at certain periods of the year makes Phuket a great place to learn and practise the sport of kitesurfing/kiteboarding.

Our Kitesurfing school in Phuket

- We are the only kitesurfing school in Phuket whose lessons take place in only shallow water areas.

- We are the only kitesurfing school in Phuket that can teach every day in the high season (December, January and February), other schools are based in tidal areas where half of the month the tide is low and there is no water.

- We are the only kitesurfing school in Phuket which has a location with flat calm water in the low season (June, July and August), all other areas along the west coast have rough conditions with waves.

- In Phuket conditions (tide and wind direction )are changing all the time, we are a mobile kitesurfing school, we will take you to the best spot for the day.

"Our Special Watersports Day"

From May to November we now offer a great watersports day in which we give you the unique opportunity to experience and learn about some of the most exciting and relaxing watersports on this planet. All in one day we offer you the following activities: an introductory surfing course, kayaking and kayak sailing lessons, stand up paddle surfing (the latest rage), boogie boarding and an introductory kitesurfing course. We also offer kayaking adventure trips, surfing and stand up paddle surfing courses. Stand Up Paddle Surfing is at the moment one of the world’s fastest growing watersports.

NO WIND?

No wind is no problem, besides all the other activities we offer in Phuket you can now also join us for a session at the cable skiing park. The cable simulates kiteboarding like nothing else and you can work on all your boarding skills in this way.

We also have a speedboat available for if you wish to wakeboard in this way.

The great thing about Phuket is that there are so many activities on offer.You can go wakeboarding,diving/snorkeling, big game fishing, play golf, go kart racing, exploring islands, elephant riding, shopping, canoeing, surfing, visit shows, sailing, eat at some excellent restaurants, go to a cinema etc etc, not to forget there is some very vibrant nightlife on the island.

OUR BASE LOCATION

The High Season
(January and February) At this time of the year we are based at 2 locations - At the south end of Rawai beach at a restaurant called "Baan Had Rawai" - At Friendship beach in Chalong bay. Both locations are near to each other in the south of Phuket island. At which of the 2 locations we will be depends on the tide and wind situation.

The Low Season
(June,July and August) At this time of the year we teach at "Layan Bay", this is in the northern part of the island just north of Bang Tao beach. This place is hard to find but we offer a transportation service from your hotel to there and back for a low fee.
